This years spring trends are trends that you can rock any time of the year but the cat walks were buzzing with three looks which shocked most people, generally they're quite scary to try and pull off day to day but here I'll share with you how to rock the look either how you like it, or on very small portions of your face
The Orange Lip:
For darker skinned girls, this can be a really flattering lovely look, for us pale girls like myself.. it can actually make me look dead.. or super ill. I have a few orange lipsticks, one is my YSL Volupte Sheer Candy you cannot actually buy this one anymore, however it's a really sheer orange colour with a slight bit of sparkle so it makes your lips look plump and juicy. My second is Mac's Vegas Volt - this can pull a different colour on you however with my snow white skin, I have very dark lips this means Vegas Volt actually comes off as a Pastel/Light Orange this one is a Cremesheen so it's a really nice comfortable long wearing formula. If you want something a bit daring try Mac's Morange which is a bright orange. Another one which I actually thought was red until I wore it the other day is Urban Decays Bang. For something drugstore Maybelline's Neon Orange is a bright one, and if you want something Orange but with a bit more red within the formula try Rimmel's In Love With Ginger.
Going with a dewy skin, some models had a beautiful pale eye, sometimes even white - it gave the look of 'No makeup but I'm made up' it was almost angelic and soft. Mac's Phloof! is a really pretty for this, all you have to do is add your highlight shade all over the lid, if you want to deepen the crease and bam! A one shadow look. Nyx Eye Shadow Crayon in Milk is also really pretty for this. The highlight shade really brings out the white in your eye, giving you the appearance of being more awake. If you wanna glam this look up, add a bit of glitter, it will really turn the look day to night a great pigment for this is Mac's Vanilla.
Most people really do not embrace a super colourful eye shadow look, a bright blue all over was a big hit on the cat walk this year, unless you have a Urban Decay Vice Palette or their new Electric palette this can quite an unusual look for you, rocking some colour can be scary. If you want to try add a pop of purple in your lid look, if that's just not you try Urban Decay's Eyeliner in Deep End on your waterline and smudge it out. Stila's Smudgesticks are also good for this even on your top last line instead of a generic black liner. Add something crazy on a night out, what could happen it's only makeup, you can always wash it off.
Until next time,
